 Christina Milian: Gets engaged
Love seems to be in the air! After long dismissing claims of an engagement, the R&B singer and actress Christina Milian has confirmed that she will walk down the aisle with music producer boyfriend The-Dream. She is getting engaged.
Sources have thrown light on this news of Christina Milian. Twenty seven year old Christina expressed her feelings to a popular news magazine at Saturday's Venom Energy and Trainwreck party for music executive Billy Clark, of her upcoming nuptials. She said, "We don't have plans yet -- but it hasn't [already] happened, that I can confirm”. "We just want to have our closest friends and family there; it's not going to be too big."
The-Dream, who presented Milian with a six-carat sparkler from Ivanka Trump's jewelry line, commented that the couple has already been thinking about kids.
"I love kids, and [Christina] loves kids probably more than I do." He remarked this but also mentioned that the pair has been focused on work namely Milian's upcoming album, Elope for the time being.
He further continued, "I think when you're a female in this business, it's kinda hard to do the natural thing that you want to do." "You have to do your work -- then whenever she makes that time for herself -- she'll make that time [to have a baby]. In the next couple of years, there'll be something around."
It will be the first marriage for Milian, who previously dated rapper and America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon. However The-Dream's marriage to singer Nivea ended in late 2007.
