Michael Moore: Incorporates lust, passion in new film
Academy Award-winning American filmmaker Michael Moore has announced the title of his forthcoming documentary.
Moore is focussing on the global economic meltdown in his forthcoming documentary "Capitalism: A Love Story", which is set for an October 2 release by Overture Films and Paramount Vantage.
In a statement, the Fahrenheit 9/11 director said that his new documentary will be the perfect date movie. He said, "It's got it all -- lust, passion, romance, and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day. It's a forbidden love, one that dare not speak its name. Heck, let's just say it: It's capitalism".
Moore got his start with the 1989 big-business documentary "Roger and Me", in which he documented the effect of General Motors' decline on his hometown of Flint, Michigan.
Michael Moore scored a $100 million hit with 2004's "Fahrenheit 9/11", which centered on the Bush White House's actions after the September 11 attacks.
Moore won an Academy Award in 2003 for best documentary for his 2002 film "Bowling for Columbine".
