David Arquette: To sleep in a box for US hungry people
American actor David Arquette has adopted a unique technique to raise money for the US hungry people. He is also a film director, producer, screenwriter and former professional wrestler.
The 37 year old Arquette has decided to sleep in a Plexiglas box above the Madison Square Garden marquee on Tuesday and Wednesday to raise $250,000 for Feeding America, the nation's largest domestic hunger relief charity.
Donations can come through text messages, on site and a Facebook page set up by Mars Inc., the company that makes Snickers candy bars.
A spokesman from Mars said that Arquette will eat during his two-day stay in the plastic enclosure.
Arquette came in limelight during the late 1990s, after having starred in several Hollywood films, including the films of the Scream trilogy. He is a member of the Arquette family of actors.
