Robin Williams: Brings 'Weapons Self-Destruction' to HBO
American comedian and actor Robin Williams is bringing his "Weapons of Self-Destruction" back to HBO.
"Weapons of Self-Destruction" is Williams' first solo comedy special in seven years on HBO.
Williams has done four solo specials on HBO. The most recent, which aired in 2002, received five Emmy nominations.
The cable network said that a special of Williams performing in Washington will be televised in December. The show is part of the actor-comedian's upcoming national tour. The special will be taped at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. this November.
Robin Williams co-starred with John Travolta in the upcoming Disney comedy "Old Dogs". He also co-hosted nine "Comic Relief" specials for HBO with Billy Crystal and Whoopi Goldberg.
