 Jamie Waylett: Harry Potter star arrested on cannabis charges
Harry Potter star Jamie Waylett has been charged on Tuesday for growing 10 cannabis plants. He will appear at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on 16 July.
The 19 year old Waylett is well known for his portrayal of Vincent Crabbe, the right-hand man to Draco Malfoy in all five of the Harry Potter films.
Jamie Waylett was charged shortly before the world premiere in London of the latest in the blockbuster series, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".
A police spokeswoman said, "He is charged with producing a Class B drug, namely cannabis".
