 Maiara Walsh: Signs on as "Desperate" regular
American actress and singer Maiara Walsh is joining the cast of the ABC's "Desperate Housewives" as a regular artist after guest-starring in the last two episodes.
In May 2009, Walsh began portraying Ana Solis, the gorgeous and manipulative niece of Carlos Solis who came to live with the Solises and already has been pushing Gaby's (Eva Longoria Parker) buttons.
Ricardo Chavira is playing the role of Carlos Solis and Eva Longoria Parker is playing the role of Gaby.
"Desperate Housewives" returned for a sixth season which will air on September 27.
Walsh is best known for her role on the Disney Channel sitcom "Cory in the House" as Meena Paroom, daughter of the ambassador of the fictional country of Bahavia and one of Cory's friends and former love interests. She was born in Washington to a Brazilian mother and an American father.
