Madonna: Plans to pay tribute to Michael Jackson
Madonna is set to pay tribute to her late friend, Michael Jackson, at her concert in London on Saturday.
Madonna is going to debut a special song and dance in tribute to the late singer. Her representative Liz Rosenberg has told this to the reporters of a popular news agency.
On Friday, a photograph was posted on the pop singer's website, showing Madonna and her dancers rehearsing with a man dressed up like Michael.
Madonna has got two dates scheduled at the O2 arena , on Saturday July 4, and Sunday July 5. The O2 arena is the same venue where Michael was due to kick off his comeback shows beginning on July 13.
Madonna and Michael attended the Academy Awards together in the year 1991.
The King of Pop's death last week at the age of 50, shocked Madonna.
She said, "I can't stop crying over the sad news," "I have always admired Michael Jackson... The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever!... My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family... God bless." |
