 Jeri Ryan: Joins "Leverage" at TNT
German American actress Jeri Ryan, who is best known for her role as the ex-Borg Seven of Nine on "Star Trek: Voyager", will play a recurring role on the TNT vigilante drama "Leverage", which begins its second season next month.
On the drama, Jeri Ryan will play the role of Tara, a smart-ass, street-wise con woman whom Sophie (Gina Bellman) calls on for help and who gets sucked into the Leverage family of bigwig busters.
American actor Timothy Hutton heads the cast. He is the youngest actor to win the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, which he won at the age of 20 for his performance as Conrad Jarrett in 1980's "Ordinary People".
Ryan has most recently appeared on CBS' "Shark".
