Eddie Cibrian: Joins 'CSI: Miami'

On September 21, CBS's "CSI: Miami" will kick off their 8th season by adding another name to their line-up. He is none other than Eddie Cibrian.

Sources have highlighted this news of Eddie Cibrian. According to a famous news magazine the former "Third Watch" star will portray an ex-Los Angeles Police Department officer who shifts to the East Coast to join the Miami division. Cibrian is expected to play a recurring character on the hit series, which stars David Caruso and Emily Procter.

Cibrian made appearance most recently in the Lifetime television movie titled "Northern Lights" alongside co-star LeAnn Rimes.

Shortly before the movie premiered in the month of March, reports surfaced in the tabloids that Cibrian was engaged in an affair with Rimes.

However both Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes have denied the claims. Nonetheless, following the reports, Lifetime netted its all-time highest movie ratings with "Northern Lights," which drew in 4.5 million viewers.
