Chris Brown: Cameras not allowed for Monday's hearing
At last there is a public place for the celebrities where they need not worry about their pictures being taken if they don't want!
Chris Brown's preliminary hearing in assault case will proceed as scheduled on Monday, since the request for postponement of the hearing by his attorney, Mark Geragos,to the California Supreme Court, was denied.
The TV cameras were on hand in April for the hearing where Brown pleaded not guilty in the case of domestic violence incident involving his former girlfriend Rihanna, and she was subpoenaed back in May to testify.
Rihanna's lawyer Donald Etra said, the R& B star was not at all nervous regarding the courtroom showdown with ex Chris Brown on Monday, rather "She's fully expecting she'll be required to testify. She will answer all questions asked of her truthfully."
Rihanna was spotted in New York as recently as Thursday evening, but Etra says, "She will be here in time for the hearing."
Monday's preliminary hearing will feature prosecutors outlining their evidence against Brown. At the end of the hearing, Los Angeles Superior Judge Patricia Schnegg will determine if the case is solid enough to proceed to trial.
On Thursday, the judge announced she had banned cameras inside the courtroom and that the Brown-Rihanna face-off will not be televised.
