Tom Cruise: Prepares for new 'Mission' along J.J. Abrams
Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams have chosen to accept another impossible mission.
Sources have highlighted this news of Tom Cruise. According to them both Tom Cruise and Abrams have signed in order to produce a 4th installment of the "Mission: Impossible" franchise for Paramount. J.J. Abrams took the responsibility of Tom Cruise's last outing as covert operative Ethan Hunt in 2006's "Mission: Impossible III."
While they have set 2011 as a target release date, it is yet not known if Cruise is going to star again or if Abrams is going to return to direct. According to studio spokesperson Katie Martin Kelley, Tom Cruise and J.J Abrams are only attached as producers at this point.
It would mark a reunion of Tom Cruise and Paramount after the studio cut the actor loose from a long-term development deal in the year 2006. |
