David Carradine: Hundreds of mourners pay final respects
Hundreds of friends, family members, former co-stars and general people attended a funeral service for David Carradine in Los Angeles on Saturday. More than 400 mourners paid their last respect to the late actor.
On june 4, David Carradine was found naked and hanging dead from a rope in the closet of his luxury Bangkok hotel room. Despite initial speculation that Carradine's death was a suicide, the Carradine family's forensics expert, Michael Baden, announced on Thursday that the actor did not take his own life.
Baden said in a statement, "The autopsy findings and the evidence thus far available demonstrate that Mr. Carradine's death was not the result of suicide".
Thai officials, with aid from U.S. experts, are continuing to investigate Carradine's death.
A private funeral service was held at the Hall of Liberty at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills for the "Kill Bill" star.
Among the guests were numerous actors, including Michael Madsen, Tom Selleck, Edward James Olmos, Frances Fisher, Jane Seymour, Daryl Hannah, Lucy Liu, James Cromwell, Ali Larter and Rob Schneider.
