 Lauryn Hill: Cancels all European tour dates
Organizers of Stockholm Jazz Festival said that the Grammy Award winning American hip-hop and R&B singer Lauryn Hill has canceled all tour dates in Europe this summer due to her ill health.
Liisa Tolonen, a spokeswoman for the festival, said on Wednesday that an agent of the singer informed this on late Tuesday. The agent told them that all performances in Europe by Lauryn Hill have been canceled. This includes shows in Sweden, Greece, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, and Austria.
Tolonen also said that the agent cited health reasons for the cancellation and declined to give more details.
Lauryn Hill has kept a low public profile in recent years, the tour would have marked a comeback to stage for her. She was the planned headline act for The Stockholm Jazz Festival, one of Sweden's biggest music events.
