Neil Diamond: Plans to play at July 4th concert in Boston

There is good news for the fans of Neil Diamond. Boston's Fourth of July celebration will include a performance by Neil Diamond, whose "Sweet Caroline" is an anthem of sorts for Red Sox fans.

Sources have thrown light on the news of Neil Diamond. According to them he is going to join conductor Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops for the traditional concert and fireworks spectacular on the Charles River Esplanade.

All the sponsors said that nearly half-million people attend the free show each year.

The final hour from 10 to 11 p.m. will be aired  nationally by a famous television channel.
