Chris Brown: Sued by photographer for assault, battery
Chris Brown has captured spotlight of media once again. He is being sued by a photographer who has claimed that the singer was involved in a violent incident in the month of March. A famous news magazine has brought out the confirmation of this news on Wednesday.
To be specific, Robert Rosen is suing Brown and the L.A. Fitness gym for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment.
Chris Brown was playing basketball at the gym's court in Los Angeles. At that time when Rosen, a member of the fitness center, tried to take photos Rosen said that Brown's bodyguards "shook me with incredible force”.
It is to be noted that it is not Rosen's first scuffle with a star.
The photographer sued Pierce Brosnan in late 2007 after the actor allegedly struck him in the chest in Malibu. Rosen said that at the time, Brosnan caused him "severe physical and emotional pain and injuries, including bruised ribs”.
Rosen filed in his most recent lawsuit that the incident with Brown occurred just a few weeks after he was arrested for allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.
Earlier today, Brown insisted that he was not a bad guy in an online video.
He said, "Everybody that's haters, they just been haters," he said. "All my real fans, I love you. I ain't a monster!"
Mark Geragos, attorney for Chris Brown, too was available for comments. He said, "This is a specious and frivolous lawsuit by one of the paparazzi seeking publicity and a payday," "[Rosen] has done this before and lost. We will vigorously defend against this."
