 Mel Gibson: Confirms girlfriend's pregnancy
In an interview with Jay Leno on "Tonight" show, actor Mel Gibson has confirmed the reports that he and his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva are expecting a child together.
When Leno asked about the baby's gender, the 53 year old Gibson replied jokingly, "A human being, I think". The Oscar winning actor already has seven children with wife Robyn, but the couple has been separated for almost three years.
The news comes only six weeks after Gibson's wife filed for divorce.
Robyn, Mel Gibson's wife, filed for divorce last month, citing irreconcilable differences with the "Lethal Weapon" star.
Oksana Grigorieva has a son with her former boyfriend, actor Timothy Dalton.
Mel Gibson is an actor, film director, producer and screenwriter. After appearing in the "Mad Max" and "Lethal Weapon", Gibson directed and starred in the 1995 historical action-drama movie "Braveheart". His direction of "Braveheart" made him the sixth actor-turned-filmmaker to receive an Academy Award for Best Director.
