Farrah Fawcett: Ryan reportedly desperate to tie knots
Ryan O'Neal is supposedly begging Farrah Fawcett to marry him.
According to a popular website Ryan O'Neal is "working" on getting Farrah to agree to marriage. However she is going on insisting that they "have a good thing."
Born on February 2, 1947 , Farrah Fawcett is an American actress. She is a famous pop culture figure whose hairstyle was emulated by millions of young women, and a sex symbol for millions during 1970s and 1980s.
Farrah Fawcett gained popularity by appearing off-Broadway and in acclaimed television movies in challenging (The Burning Bed, Nazi Hunter: The Beate Klarsfeld Story, Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story, Margaret Bourke-White), and sometimes unsympathetic (Small Sacrifices) roles.
On October 4, 2006, it has been revealed that Farrah Fawcett was suffering from anal cancer, and was undergoing treatment, including chemotherapy and surgery. Four months later, on her 60th birthday, the Associated Press wire service reported that Fawcett was, at that point, cancer free. Fawcett said in a statement, "This is an extraordinarily happy day for me and my family. I hope that my news might offer some level of inspiration to others who unfortunately must continue to fight the disease."
After six months it was reported that Fawcett returned to U.S and had been rushed to a hospital several days earlier, where she was unconscious and in critical condition. One month later, on May 7, Fawcett was reported as being critically ill, with O'Neal quoted as saying that she now spends her days at home, on an IV, often asleep. As of mid-May 2009, Farrah Fawcett is continuing to receive chemotherapy to thwart the spread of cancer.
