 Fergie: To perform at White House Easter Egg Roll
This year, White House Easter Egg Roll will be more entertaining than ever, with pop diva Fergie. She has been announced as one of the performers at the 2009 White House Easter Egg Roll, which will be held on Monday (April 13).
The Obama administration has invited 30,000 people to watch the performance of Fergie, Ziggy Marley, children's favorites SteveSongs and Imagination Movers.
Chefs Art Smith, Jose Andres and Spike Mendelsohn will show people how to cook healthful foods.
"Let's Go Play" is the theme for this year's Easter Egg Roll and activities will be focused on teaching children the importance of exercise and exciting ways to stay active.
Today’s activities will also include basketball, soccer, a dance floor and yoga.
The White House has planned to broadcast the events from the South Lawn through the Internet.
