Michael Jackson: Tops MTV best album poll
Pop legend Michael Jackson is still ruling the hearts of many people. His album "Thriller" has been voted the best album since 1981 by MTV viewers.
In the early 1980s, Michael Jackson was a dominant figure in popular music and the first African-American singer to amass a strong crossover following on MTV. The popularity of his music videos airing on MTV, such as "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and "Thriller".
Craig David's debut album, "Born To Do It", has been voted the second greatest of all time by music fans.
Craig David said, "I am very grateful to the viewers of MTV who have voted 'Born To Do It' as the second best album of all time; not only am I incredibly proud, it is an amazing achievement especially when I look at all the other albums in the top 100"!
Guns N' Roses's "Appetite For Destruction" has secured third position, while Radiohead's "OK Computer" is at number four. Nirvana's 1991 LP Nevermind completed the top five.
