Andy Hallett: Dies at thirty three
Andy Hallett, who was acclaimed for portraying the character of green-skinned, good-guy demon Lorne on the TV series "Angel," has died due to congestive heart disease. Hallett was thirty three years old.
Sources have thrown more light on this news on Andy Hallett. According to them, he was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after having problems breathing and died there on Sunday. She followed a five-year battle with the heart condition. On Tuesday his agent Pat Brady has brought out the confirmation of this news.
His father, Dave Hallett was by his side.
Brady continued, “Andy was the all-American boy from Massachusetts," "He was a hoot. He was comfortable wherever he went. Girls loved him. He was a very gregarious, happy young man."
It is also reported that he was born and raised in Osterville, Mass., Hallett. After that he moved out to Los Angeles when he was thirty three years old and worked as a messenger at a talent agency.
The series, starring David Boreanaz as the brooding vampire Angel, ran for 5 seasons on the WB network before it was canceled and came to a halt in the year 2004.
According to Brady Hallett was diagnosed with his heart condition at the end of the show and had been in and out of hospitals for the past five years. He decided to concentrate on his own music, thereby stepping away from acting.
Andy Hallett, an only child, is survived by his father Dave Hallett and mother Lori Hallett.
