Dancing with the Stars: Two more celebrities eliminated
‘Playboy’ model Holly Madison and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak got eliminated from the rocking ballroom of the "Dancing with the Stars" ballroom on Tuesday during first midseason double elimination of ABC channel.
Fifty eight Wozniak consistently earned the lowest score during the four weeks of competition of the show so far. All the judges gave him and professional partner Karina Smirnoff just twelve points out of a possible thirty for their Argentine tango on Monday, and the duo earned a meager ten points the week before for their samba.
"There is an improvement from last week." "Last week was so terrible that almost anything that happened would have been an improvement." The judge Len Goodman told the couple on Monday.
Judge Bruno Tonioli told Wozniak his tango to be "really stunk."
At this, Wozniak said he "gave it a good try."
He continued, "This is a great show, a great process, a great system”. Wozniak previously brought out the criticism that the scoring system of the show and later apologized to producers.
He also said that performance of the program made him feel like "the luckiest person in the world."
On Monday Madison could have used a little luck. The "Girls Next Door" reality show star forgot part of her Argentine tango and earned the show’s third-lowest score i.e. 16 points.
"It was a bad start, and it kept getting worse," added judge Tonioli.
Holly Madison and partner Dmitry Chaplin beat out fellow the low-scorer Steve-O by one point. However the fans failed to keep the couple in the competition.
Also Madison said that she was grateful for this chance of making appearance on the show. Twenty nine year old Madison was asked last minute to replace TV host Nancy O'Dell , who was injured during pre-show training.
On Tuesday Madison added, "It was a lot physically harder than I thought it was going to be, but it was so much fun," "And I love the costumes. That's my favorite part."
Tuesday's show also featured the performances by Kevin Rudolph and Boyz II Men.
Besides Steve-O , remaining competitors include rapper rodeo champ Ty Murray , former football star Lawrence Taylor, Lil Kim, Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson , country singer Chuck Wicks , "Bachelor" star Melissa Rycroft and actors David Alan Grier and Gilles Marini .
