Drew Barrymore: Goes the 'Distance'

After spliting in July 2008, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long are back together again in a movie.

Drew Barrymore has signed on to star opposite Justin Long in the romantic comedy "Going the Distance".

The plot finds the pair as a couple trying to maintain a long-distance relationship.

American filmmaker Nanette Burstein will direct the movie. Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot are producer.

Previously, they costarred in the Barrymore-produced ensemble flick "He's Just Not That Into You".

Barrymore recently wrapped her directorial debut, "Whip It!," a comedy-drama set in the world of roller derby. She starred with Ellen Page in the movie, which is scheduled to open this year.

Barrymore will next be seen in director Michael Sucsy's "Grey Gardens", which is scheduled to open on April 18 this year.
