Anna Faris: I'll marry Chris Pratt "before the end of this year"

Actress Anna Faris opens up about her upcoming wedding plans.

Anna Faris, the House Bunny star, who got engaged to actor Chris Pratt, 29, in January, hopes to walk down the aisle within the year.

"We're thinking before the end of this year, but we are still sorting that out," she told Us at a press junket for her new movie, Observe and Report in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

32-year-old Anna Faris was previously married to actor Ben Indra for four years before splitting last February, and she wants to keep the festivities simple this time around.

"I just dont want anything big or fussy," she tells Us. "I have a good girlfriend who is getting married next month, and shes got 13 bridesmaids. So thats not quite my style."

Anna adds: "Whatever it is, it is going to require a lot of alcohol."

Faris admits that she hasn't yet thought about what dress she will wear for the ceremony. Instead, Faris -- who admits that she "totally knew" about Pratt's surprise proposal -- is enjoying being engaged.

"We are just taking this time," she says. "We moved in together, and we are adjusting to all that getting him to wash the dishes. That kind of thing."

Is he excited for the big day?

"I think he's looking forward to the bachelor party!" Faris says. "Other than that, he will sort of let me do the rest."
