Dennis Quaid & Julianne Moore: To play Bill & Hillary Clinton in new film
Dennis Quaid and Julianne Moore are planning to join the cast of a new film about former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. It is also reported that the HBO and Executive Producer Kathleen Kennedy are presently undergoing discussions regarding it. A famous news magazind has revealed this news.
To be specific, Quaid and Moore will play former First Couple Bill and Hillary Clinton in "The Special Relationship," the third in a trio of films that is based on former Prime Minister Blair.
The film is going to focus on the relationship between the two world leaders.
According to another film magazine, which first reported news of "The Special Relationship," the film series started in the year 2003 with UK TV movie titled "The Deal," and was followed up in the year 2006 with "The Queen."
Michael Sheen, who presently starred in "Frost/Nixon," and previously played Blair in "The Queen," will reprise the Prime Minister role. Helen McCrory, who was also acting in the film "The Queen" as Cherie Blair, Tony's wife, is also expected in the cast.
"The Special Relationship" will be based on the time when President Clinton got engaged in an affair with one-time intern, Monica Lewinsky. As per IMDB’s report, the intern will be shown through archive footage.
Earlier Quaid and Moore have teamed up to play husband and wife in 2002's "Far From Heaven." It was a drama being set in the 1950s.
