Oprah Winfrey: Warns Rihanna to keep distance from Brown

The queen of America's talk show, Oprah Winfrey,  has warned Rihanna against reconciling with her boyfriend Chris Brown.

Chris Brown has been charged with two felonies after he allegedly beat Rihanna bloody after the pair began to argue in Brown's after the couple left Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party in early February.

Brown is free on $50,000 bail after he was granted a continuance at his arraignment hearing on Thursday and is due back in court on April 9.

If convicted, Brown may face up to four years in prison.

While speaking on her talk show, Oprah Winfrey said, "It makes me so sad. The truth is that both Chris Brown and Rihanna, if I were your friend I would call you up and say, 'Give it some time, get yourself counselling, take care of yourself and heal yourself first. Love doesn't hurt and if a man hits you once he will hit you again. I don't care what his plea is; he will hit you again'".

Pop princess Rihanna and Chris Brown are now working on their music again.
