 Rita Wilson: To star in Nancy Meyers' next project
American film and stage actress Rita Wilson has joined Alec Baldwin, Meryl Streep and Steve Martin in the next project of the famous director Nancy Meyers.
Rita Wilson is the wife of American actor and dirctor Tom Hanks, who won an Oscar for Best Actor in 1993-94 and is the third most successful actor in terms of box office totals, which exceed $3.3 billion.
Wilson will portray one of Streep's best friends and confidantes in the film.
Up next for Rita Wilson is Fox Searchlight's spring release "My Life in Ruins", starring Nia Vardalos of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". She appeared in the Disney comedy "Old Dogs" alongside John Travolta and Robin Williams in November.
