 Julianna Margulies: Joins CBS Drama "The Good Wife"
American actress Julianna Margulies will act in CBS' drama pilot "The Good Wife". She will perform the role of a defense attorney who got married to a politician.
The role is very familiar for Julianna Margulies, who already played a fearless attorney on the short-lived Fox drama series "Canterbury's Law". It was an American legal drama, which ran from March 10, 2008 to April 18, 2008.
"ER" alumna Julianna Margulies is returning to the NBC medical drama that made her a household name. She is set to appear alongside former castmates Eriq La Salle, Noah Wyle and possibly George Clooney on the March 12 episode. Margulies achieved success in her continuing role as Nurse Carol Hathaway on the drama, for which she won an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Television Drama.
