 Being No. 1 in the country,Taylor Swift has received nomination for the album of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
To be specific, Taylor Swift has joined George Strait, Jamey Johnson, Carrie Underwood and Montgomery Gentry as the nominees for top album at the ACM Awards. Most of the nominees were declared sometime during last month. However on Thursday, the academy has made the announcement of another batch of nominees.
Swift was nominated for "Fearless" which is this nineteen year-old's sophomore album has helped her to transfer from a country sensation to pop's newest superstar.
Swift will perform at the ACM Awards along with Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, Sugarland, Heidi Newfield, Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw.
The award ceremony will be held in Las Vegas on 5th April and aired live on CBS.
