Prince Charles: Tops list of best-dressed men
Esquire magazine has chosen Prince Charles as the world's best-dressed man.
The 60 year old Prince Charles has beaten off a competition from an impressive and younger field, including US President Barack Obama to claim the title.
Esquire magazine said, "He is perfectly turned out in a double-breasted suit. Admirably, the prince keeps his wardrobe in appropriate style; we're told he has a room laid out like a tailor's shop".
Prince Charles, who is heir to the British throne, keeps it simple and has worn suits by Saville Row tailors Gieves and Hawkes, complete with pocket handkerchief and silk tie, for years.
The magazine said that he was "always incredibly well dressed".
US President Barack Obama came fourth in the top ten. Artist David Hockney came seventh, tennis player Roger Federer eighth and US rapper Andre 3000 tenth in the list.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Boris Johnson featured in world's worst dressed men's list by the magazine.
The magazine said, "Gordon Brown turned up in the Iraqi desert wearing black lace-ups. Boris Johnson wears odd socks, has jacket pockets like second-hand bookshops, and hair the result of an encounter with a ghost in a wind tunnel".
