On Tuesday, this actor took time off from shooting to pay visit to Zimbabwean refugees in the South African border town of Musina. His visit is an integral part of a humanitarian mission on behalf of Not on Our Watch, a nonprofit advocacy group that he started along with eminent actors namely George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Don Cheadle.
Presently Matt Damon is in South Africa for the shooting of Clint Eastwood's forthcoming film about Nelson Mandela namely The Human Factor. Morgan Freeman is portraying the character of Mandela, the apartheid-fighting nation builder.
Nearly three million people have fled to Zimbabwe, where a crumbling infrastructure, economy-crippling inflation and political corruption have led to widespread poverty, hunger and disease.
