Woody Allen: New movie to premiere in Tribeca Film Festival
American film director Woody Allen's new comedy movie "Whatever Works" will open the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on April 22.
"Whatever Works" is Woody Allen's first film shot in his hometown since 2004.
According to a report, Woody Allen's next three projects will be filmed in Europe, in the summers of 2009.
In April 2008, Woody Allen began filming "Whatever works", a movie focused more towards older audiences starring Larry David, Evan Rachel Wood, Ed Begley Jr. and Patricia Clarkson.
Allen said, "A lovely idea of showing my film in a film festival in my own city. It's very exciting".
Jane Rosenthal, co-founder of Tribeca Film Festival, described "Whatever Works" as a "uniquely funny addition to his body of work".
