Portia de Rossi: Slams IVF Rumors
Portia de Rossi said that she is not having in vitro fertilization in order to get pregnant.
Portia herself admitted it to AccessHollywood.com's Laura Saltman on the set of "Better Off Ted," her new ABC comedy, which is scheduled to be premiered on 18th March. She added, "There's a story around right now about me that could not be further from the truth".
Portia also said rumors regarding the IVF pregnancy rumors are not new with her. In fact, she is quite used to the tales that are related to impending motherhood cropping up on a regular basis.
While talking to Laura she also said, "The baby thing comes around annually," "I find... once a year, you know, whether I deny it or not... It doesn't make any difference."
One rumor that Portia did not deny during Laura's "Better Off Ted" set visit, was that she is planning to appear on her wife Ellen DeGeneres 's daytime talk show.
Although the two women have tied knots recently, Portia admitted that she is experiencing a little anxiety over her moment in Ellen's interview hot seat.
Portia laughingly said, "Well, I don't know what she's gonna ask me! I mean, really on the spot. You know?" "No, it'll be really fun!"
While Portia has an advantage over other guests with Ellen, she said that she did not ask for any favors when it is the time for the interview.
Portia continued, "I just think whatever happens is gonna happen and it'll be fun," "I think she'll go pretty easy on me."
