Clay Aiken: Splits up with long-time label
Former American Idol Clay Aiken has parted away from his label, RCA Records. His representative has brought the confirmation of the news to Usmagazine.com
Sources have thrown more light on the news of Clay Aiken. His current album, On My Way Here, has sold 159,000 copies in the U.S. This is as per records of the Billboard. His debut album titled Measure of a Man that was released in the year 2003 has sold 2.78 million copies. On Friday Billboard has brought out the report that he left the label a few months ago.
Other "American Idol" alums that have dropped their labels include Bo Bice, Katharine McPhee Blake Lewis and Ruben Studdard .
The Idol season two runner-up has finished his stint on Broadway's Spamalot in the month of January. |
