Briefing the reporters of People the publicist Stan Rosenfield told ,"Brooke is at a Los Angeles-area hospital, where she was admitted yesterday morning with premature contractions - which is not all that uncommon for someone at this stage of pregnancy, especially with twins," "She's fine and is expected to be discharged from the hospital today."

While it was not clear till Wednesday evening if she had been released, husband Charlie left set of the NBC channel after taping an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” earlier in the afternoon. He left after recording the segment.
