 Salma Hayek, the Mexican-born actress, has tied knots with French entrepreneur Francois-Henri Pinault on Valentine's Day in Paris. A close source has confirmed the news on Monday.
Sources have confirmed the news on Salma Hayek. Speaking on condition of anonymity, the official added that the pair had tied the knot on Saturday morning only.
Forty six year old Pinault, heir to one of the largest fortunes in France, is head of retail group PPR, which includes the luxury Gucci brand and also the Fnac retail chain.
The couple has a daughter named Valentina, who was born in the year 2007, several months after they made announcement of their engagement.
Last year the engagement was broken off. However the wedding plans were apparently resumed in the interim.
Forty two year old Hayek got the nomination for an Oscar award for her portrayal of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo in the 2002 film "Frida." She is also executive producer of U.S. television comedy titled "Ugly Betty."
