Lindsay Lohan: Still tops the Hottest Women list?

Magazine Maxim tries to convince us that, Lindsay Lohan is hot... Hottest! Yes, Lindsay Lohan tops Eva Longoria, as the hottest woman alive. Eva Longoria must be furious. Eva Longoria was Maxim's hottest woman for the last two years, but this year she's been punished for getting engaged, refusing to make a lesbian sex film with Beyonce and not talking about her minge as much as usual. Now Eva Longoria is only the ninth-hottest woman in the world, and Lindsay Lohan has stolen her crown.

Lindsay Lohan took top honors from Maxim magazine this year, landing at the top of their 100 hottest woman in the world list. Lindsay Lohan may be a Hollywood wild child and that's part of the reason the Georgia Rule star got to the top of the Maxim list, but it didn't help another pair of Hollywood tabloid queens, as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears couldn't make even the top hundred from Maxim. Lindsay Lohan took the top spot from Eva Longoria, the winner last year who slipped to ninth place this year. Lindsay Lohan debuted at number two in 2005 and slid down a spot to number three last year. It looks like all she needed was a little rehab to climb to the top spot.

Maxim's editor-in-chief, Jimmy Jellinik, unveiled the list yesterday morning on The Howard Stern Show and released a statement, in which he said, "There is no other star in the world that causes more of a stir in the public eye than Lindsay. Her every move is watched and reported on."

Lindsay Lohan was happy to land the top spot somewhere, especially after her movie Georgia Rule bombed at the box office last weekend. She said in a statement, "I couldn't be more flattered to be honored as the No. 1 girl in Maxim's Hot 100 list!"

Lindsay Lohan claimed the top spot ahead of, in the following order, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Biel, Ali Larter, Eva Mendes, Rihanna, Eva Longoria, and Fergie. Jellinik actually noted in his statement that Paris Hilton, Mary Kate Olsen, Britney Spears, and Jennifer Aniston weren't on the list and said that the magazine was trying to focus on the most successful women of the year with beauty and the promise of greater things to come. Maxim thinks a lot of Lindsay Lohan.

Past winners from Maxim include Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, and Eva Longoria. Other names on the list include Sienna Miller, Angelina Jolie, Beyonce Knowles, Katherine Heigl, Sarah Silverman, Ashlee Simpson, Jessica Simpson, Lena Headey, Avril Lavigne, Halle Berry, Salma Hayek, Shanna Moakler, Kim Kardashian, Tara Conner and Ashley Olsen. That's right - Ashley Olsen made the list, but not Mary Kate Olsen.

Lohan said she was thrilled by the news.

"I couldn't be more flattered to be honored as the No. 1 girl in Maxim's Hot 100 list." Lohan said.

Lohan joins past No. 1 picks, Longoria (2006 & 2005), Jessica Simpson (2004), Christina Aguilera (2003), Jennifer Garner (2002) and Jessica Alba (2001).

Lohan debuted on the Maxim Hot 100 list at No. 4 in 2005, and was No. 3 on the list last year.

Maxim pointed out other "notable selections," including Ashlee Simpson (No. 16), Megan Fox (No. 18), Kate Beckinsale (No. 21), Hilary Duff (No. 23), Sophia Bush (No. 24), Kate Hudson (No. 27), and Ashley Olsen (No. 37).

Also raising eyebrows this year are some of the women who didn't make the cut, including Mary Kate Olsen, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Aniston and Britney Spears.

The Maxim Hot 100 supplement will be sold with the June issue the magazine, which will feature comedian Sarah Silverman (No. 29) on the cover. The June issue also features a layout with Ocean's Thirteen actress Noreen DuWulf (No. 100) and a profile on Hong Kong Hero Chow Yun-Fat.

VH1 will be airing a one-hour special on the hot list, which will be hosted by Megan Fox on May 22 at 9 p.m.
