 Christina Applegate: Plans to "lay low" on Valentine's Day
Actress Christina Applegate is planning a laid back Valentine's Day with her rocker beau, Martyn Lenoble.
"I think we are just going to lay low," she told Usmagazine.com at a screening of Samantha Who in Hollywood Thursday. "I bought a beach house, and I think we are just going to stay out there and get me better."
(Applegate went searching for the vacation home the day she was diagnosed with breast cancer, which she beat after a double mastectomy. "You just kind of go, 'What are you waiting for to get the things that you want and the things you dream of?'" she has said.)
"I have a lot of things coming up the next month so I just need to chill out," the 37-year-old added.
Applegate also told an Us reporter, "I have the flu really badly...I have a fever and you don't want this at all!"
A Dutch bass player Lenoble is also out of commission with a foot injury. "That thing is going to be broken for awhile, he is OK," she told Us. "He has a cane now."
