Someone "Jeff", a person who has claimed to have "been close to Britney since before all of her recent troubles began" has disclosed the "truth" about the wayward pop star, saying "Anyone close to Britney knows that she's an angel when it comes to being a mom and a friend."

In an interview, a celebrity photo agency known to be a supporter of the pop star, Jeff, whose real relationship with Britney is left unexplained, makes the following case:

Britney does not do drugs, has one or two drinks occasionally and is a devoted mother.

The lollipops that Britney Spears has been seen sucking gleefully aren't drug laced. "They're Tootsie Roll pops, not suckers laced with drugs or whatever Kevin's camp is claiming -- I've never even heard of that!"

"Whenever the kids are in Britney's custody, she does not go out."

"Anyone close to Britney knows that she's an angel when it comes to being a mom and a friend."

Britney Spears' business associates turned against her because she broke free from them.

"She's a young girl, who's finally attempting to be totally independent and that's just something that the people around her -- business people -- do not want to see happen.

Though Britney Spears' mother loves her, but has been influenced by her former manager Larry Rudolph and tends to trust the associates that Britney fires more then her daughter.

Larry Rudolph influenced Britney's family to send her to rehab and the staff at Promises rehab was in cohorts with him. They administered medication to her despite repeated tests showing no traces of drugs in her body.

Britney Spears' ex Kevin Federline who is now seeking full custody of his children with Britney, is not interested in his children but in Britney's money.

If Federline really feared for his kids why did he not call Child Protective Services on Britney?

Jeff makes a good case but stumbles fitting it to the facts, e.g., he explains Britney's proclivity to go commando and flash her undergarments and breasts, and said:

"If you had 50 cameras and cameramen hovering around you, inches away from you at all times, pushing and shoving, wardrobe malfunctions are bound to happen."

Britney Spears was recently photographed playing boisterously topless in a hotel pool with a man she barely knew, splashing in the sea in her undergarments, in full view of photographers and posing topless in a garden.

This man, "Jeff", explains "Britney's like a little girl at times" and is "shy around guys. Britney Spears is young and single and would love to find the right man; how can anyone blame her for that. I think she forgets sometimes that she's a mega-star, someone who changed the face of music, an historical icon that still has a lot to learn and a lot more still to offer."

Jeff's argument that, Britney Spears just has a drink or two occasionally, does not quite explain what makes her throw up or pass out in clubs and restaurants.

"Jeff" says Britney does not go out when she is with her kids but very recently she was seen staying late in a restaurant with her kids.

Jeff's contention that Britney was "forced" into rehab is perhaps the most unconvincing and almost an admission that, she is not capable of adult behavior.

"Britney begged for them to give her a drug test but eventually felt there was no other option but to enter a treatment program to prove to her family that she was clean and to protect herself from any unfounded accusations in a potential custody battle," Jeff says.
