Winners List of 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards

Honoring the outstanding contribution of people of color in film, television, music, NAACP Image Awards have handed out its trophies to variable movies, TV shows, actors and musicians.

"The Secret Life of Bees", which is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, won outstanding film of 2008. The female-driven drama also won outstanding director award.

Jennifer Hudson won an NCAAP Image award for outstanding new artist. Jennifer also received her two other awards; Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration for her duet track "I'm His Only Woman" with Fantasia Barrino, and Outstanding Album for her self-titled debut effort.

TV shows like "Grey's Anatomy", "The Young and the Restless" and "American Idol" are the biggest winners.
