A week after Miley Cyrus addressed her photo flap, the singer Margaret Cho has drawn criticism from some people in the Asian community including Korean comedian Margaret Cho.
Sources have thrown more light on Margaret Cho. Cyrus has denied the fact that she was mocking Asians when a photograph of her pulling at the corners of her eyes was published on the internet.
"There are some people upset about some pictures taken of me with friends making goofy faces," "Well, I'm sorry if those people looked at those pictures and took them wrong and out of context!" Cyrus has written it on her official website.
In turn, Cho also took to her blog on Wednesday to condemn the actions of Miley Cyrus, thereby posting the lyrics of a song that she wrote about the Disney star.
"I am so upset by Miley Cyrus, I think it warrants a song," added Miley on her blog.
Following criticism over her initial response, Miley Cyrus has published a second apology on her fan site, by saying that “I really wanted to stress how sorry I am if the photo of me with my friends offended anyone. I have learned a valuable lesson from this and know that sometimes my actions can be unintentionally hurtful." |
