Actor Hugh Dancy has announced his engagement to actress Claire Danes, just before the time for the release of his forthcoming movie.

The latest Hugh Dancy movie “Confessions of a Shopaholic” is releasing this coming Friday.

33-year old Hugh Dancy and 29-year old Claire Danes have confirmed their engagement to People magazine.

Dancy and Danes have been dating for more than a year.

While filming the drama 'Evening', last year, the couple met, and have been an item ever since. This is the first marriage for both actors.

Hugh Dancy, after Shopaholic, will next be seen in the indie romance 'Coach'.
