Stephen King: Insults Twilight author's writing

Stephen King, who is famous for writing horror stories, has made some pretty harsh comments about Twilight author Stephenie Meyer. Last week he did so during an interview with USA Weekend.

Sources have thrown more light on Stephen King’s news. According to them , he made a comparison between Meyer and Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, by saying "Both Rowling and Meyer, they're speaking directly to young people ... The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good."

Born on September 21, 1947) Stephen King is an American author of contemporary horror, fantasy and science fiction.

Having sold an estimated 300–350 million copies of his books, many of stories of Stephen have been adapted for other media, including movies, television series and comic books. King has written a number of books using the pen name "Richard Bachman". In the year 2003 he received The National Book Foundation's Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters.
