Lil' Kim: Joins 'Dancing with the Stars'

Grammy-award winning rap singer Lil' Kim will hit the floor for "Dancing with the Stars" when the show returns for an 8th season in the month of March. Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson and former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor also are scheduled to join this popular program in ABC channel. The channel representative himself has confirmed the news on Monday.

Sources have thrown more light on the news of Lil’ Kim. They will be joined by real-life couples, rodeo athlete Ty Murray and his singer wife Jewel. Country star Chuck Wicks and his girlfriend, two-time "Dancing with the Stars" champion Julianne Hough also will participate in the show.

Seventy year old Johnson, who has grabbed an Olympic gold medal at the Beijing games in the year 2008, is the youngest ever competitor on the hit show which returns with a two-hour season premiere on March 9.

Thirty three year old singer and actress Lil' Kim, spent one year in jail in the year 2005 after being found guilty of false swearing and conspiracy for lying about the involvement of her friends in a 2001 shooting in New York.

"Dancing with the Stars" is one of the most popular programs in ABC channel. Its last season, which ended in September 2008, drew around nineteen million viewers in each episode.
