'Dark Knight' and 'Juno' win Grammys
The 51st Grammy Awards started on Sunday with Heath Ledger's "The Dark Knight" and quirky drama "Juno" taking early honours in the preliminary categories.
James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer won best score soundtrack for "The Dark Knight", beating out "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", "Iron Man", "There Will Be Blood" and "Wall-E".
The director Jason Reitman collected the best compilation soundtrack Grammy for "Juno".
Tthe Grammy for Best Motion Picture Song went to Thomas Newman and Peter Gabriel for “Down to Earth” from Pixar’s "WALL-E"
The film music Grammys were the first to be awarded Sunday during the pre-telecast awards at Los Angeles' Staples Center.
