The Oscar nominee for "The Wrestler" Mickey Rourke is goingt to act in "St. Vincent" as a hit man who comes back to New York on order to complete a botched hit. Disguising himself as a priest, he has managed to hear the confession of the man whom he is targeting.
Walter Hill, who undertook the responsibility of directing Rourke in the 1989 gangster tale "Johnny Handsome," heads the Occupant Films/Secret Handshake Entertainment project, which is based on an original script written by Cameron Young.
The production of "St. Vincent" has been scheduled to start sometime later this year.
Currently L.A.-based Occupant has done the production of the 2008 Sundance audience award winning film "The Wackness," starring Ben Kingsley. |
