Ashley Judd: Speaks out against Palin
Golden Globe-nominated American actress Ashley Judd has joined with the Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund to launch a Web-based campaign against Sarah Palin's 'anti-conservation agenda' and 'attack on wolves and bears'.
Ashley Judd has condemned Alaska Governor for allegedly promoting the aerial killing of wolves in Alaska.
Judd said, "It is time to stop Sarah Palin and stop this senseless savagery".
Ashley Judd, who is well known for playing a number of strong women characters in films such as "Kiss the Girls", "Double Jeopardy" and "High Crimes", said that she is outraged by Sarah Palin's promotion of this cruel, unscientific and senseless practice which has no place in modern America.
Judd said, "Because she is apparently determined to continue and expand this horrific program, I am grateful that Defenders will aggressively fight to stop her. I am proud to be a part of that effort".
This is not the first time the Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund has spoken against Sarah Palin over the aerial killings. During the presidential campaign, the Defenders have also launched a national television ad campaign focusing on the topic.
