 James Franco, who was highly acclaimed for playing both a goofy pot dealer and Harvey Milk's lover, has been selected as Harvard's Hasty Pudding Man of the Year.

This thirty one year old actor got the nomination for a Golden Globe Award for his supporting role in the film titled "Pineapple Express" and starred opposite to Sean Penn in the famous film “Milk." He has also made his appearance in TV's "Freaks and Geeks" and the "Spider Man" trilogy and also portrayed James Dean in the TNT biopic.
On Thursday the actress Renee Zellweger will be honored as the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year. Last year's honorees were Christopher Walken and Charlize Theron.
