Jessica Simpson: Asked to be left alone by Jenny McCarthy
There is yet one more celebrity coming to Jessica Simpson's defense over the hoopla made over her new fuller figure.
"I think people should leave Jessica alone," Jenny McCarthy told Usmagazine.com Friday at the 6th Annual Leather And Laces Celebration in Tampa, Fla. "Everyone has gained weight one time or another, including me."
Added Carmen Electra: "I really like Jessica. She has curves. She can't do anything about that. Weight is just part of the celebrity territory.
"I know I read and hear things about my weight," she added. "I understand what she's going through."
What should Simpson do next?
"If being fit and lean and looking great is your stock and trade, information is power," Men's Heath editor Dave Zinczenko tells Us. "You just need to know what it is you're eating. It doesn't matter how much time you spend at the gym ... it all really does start in the kitchen."
Jessica Simpson didn't address her weight at a concert Friday in Lexington, Ky. But she said her faith has helped her get through hard times.
"Because of my faith, I believe that I can conquer the world and all its opinions and ideas and all of its judgments," she told fans before belting out "Pray Out Loud."
