 Renee Zellweger is being felicitated with 2009 Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year award.
On Friday the award was declared. Every year this award is given along with a Man of the Year honor by Hasty Pudding Theatricals at Harvard University, the nation's oldest undergraduate drama troupe.
When she will receive her traditional Pudding Pot on 5th Feb. 5, Zellweger will get a parade in an adaptable flanked by Harvard men in drag. It will be followed by a parody roast at the renovated New College Theatre.
The "Bridget Jones" star Renee who has grabbed an Oscar award for the 2003 film "Cold Mountain," appears in the new romantic comedy "New in Town," with Harry Connick Jr.
The Man of the Year award will be announced next week followed by a celebration on Feb. 13.
Last yesr Charlize Theron and Christopher Walken received the honor.
