The full wax image of the new first lady of United States Michelle Obama is expected to be unveiled in the Washington branch of prestigious Madame Tussauds wax museum. It will occur in the month of March.
Sources have thrown more light on the news of Michelle Obama. According to them, senior sculptor Colin Jackson has been working on a clay head mold of first lady Michelle Obama at Merlin Studios in London. The clay molds are a crucial step in the upcoming 6month-long figure creation. The figure will be placed alongside wax figure of President Barack Obama in the museum's Oval Office replica.
Janine DiGioacchino, general manager of the London-based attraction's Washington branch, said that having an image of Michelle Obama is an honour, "as our nation's first African-American first lady, a proud working mum and budding style icon, Mrs Obama is a role model to women around the corner and around the globe".
After Jacqueline Kennedy and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Micxhelle Obama will be the 3rd first lady who will be included in the wax collection. |
